Training Course – Securing EU Funding 2014-2020

Master class on European Funds within the framework of the Europe 2020 Strategy

The aim of the training is to provide staff of organisations with knowledge about European Funds for 2014-2020 period and to give practical skills for researching grants and writing and managing successful, quality projects.

The master class lasts 5 days (see programme below), for a cost of 350 euro/participant.

Day1

  • Participants’ expectations – learning objectives
  • EU programmes 2014-2020 – Sectors of interventions
  • Europe 2020 Strategy, its targets and flagship initiatives
  • EU legislations and Commission reccomendations

Day2

  • Stakeholder analysis
  • Analysis of problems – creation of a problem tree
  • Transformation of the problem tree to objective tree
  • Definition of project objectives and expected results

Day3

  • The Logical Framework Approach: The use of the LogiFrame Matrix
  • Practical work on the project proposal

Day4

  • Partnerships and scale of the projects
  • Budget management
  • Administration and accounting
  • Technical aspects of submitting a project proposal

Meeting local organisations  – building future partnerships
